Testimonials
My 11 yo son has been working with Nataly for almost 2 years. In this time his language and communication skills have grown immensely. Especially his conversational skills with peers and adults which has given him more confidence in social settings. My son really enjoys his time with Nataly. She is bright, funny, engaging and adapts her sessions depending on our current needs/concerns. Nataly works well with my son's other therapists and teachers to support him in reaching his goals.
Danni
Nataly has been Emilio’s speech therapist for the past five years, and her impact on his development and our family has been truly extraordinary. Emilio is autistic and began his journey as a non-verbal child, so every step of progress has meant the world to our family. Nataly has supported him through challenges and milestones with so much care, patience, and dedication.
She has helped Emilio feel safe, understood, and confident to communicate. Through her support, he has grown tremendously in expressing his feelings, communicating his needs, and organising his thoughts. Nataly genuinely cares for the children she works with and has always advocated for Emilio with compassion and professionalism. We are incredibly grateful for the positive impact she has had on Emilio and our family’s journey.

Nat helped my four-year-old son with a lisp. She was incredibly knowledgeable and professional and had an amazing ability to get down to his level. He made progress so quickly and actually enjoyed attending speech sessions. I would strongly recommend her to anyone needing speech therapy.

About Us
Meet Our Founder
& Clinician
Nataly Betancur is the founder and speech pathology clinician at Learn and Communicate.
Originally from the United States, Nataly began her career working as a behavioural therapist before transitioning into speech pathology. She studied Behavioural Therapy and Counselling in America and had the opportunity to work closely with children and families across both school and home environments. This experience provided her with a strong understanding of child development, behaviour, emotional regulation, learning, and family-centred support.
Nataly moved to Australia in 2016 and later completed her Masters in Speech Pathology. Since then, she has been fortunate to integrate her previous studies and behavioural therapy experience into her speech pathology practice, allowing her to provide holistic, practical, and highly individualised support for children and families.
Nataly has experience supporting children across a range of communication profiles, including speech sound difficulties, language delays, literacy challenges, autism, and social communication differences. Her approach is warm, child-centred, neurodiversity-affirming, and focused on helping children build confidence, communication skills, and meaningful participation across everyday environments.
She works collaboratively with families, educators, and other allied health professionals to ensure therapy remains functional, supportive, and tailored to each child’s individual strengths and goals.
Alongside direct therapy, Nataly also provides school-based support services including:
language assessments
early years communication screeners
Prep screening programs to support early identification and intervention
Disability Inclusion Profile (DIP) and funding application support
consultation and collaboration with educators, wellbeing teams, and allied health professionals
Nataly is passionate about early intervention and supporting schools and families to identify and access the right supports as early as possible. Nataly also speaks Spanish and values creating supportive and culturally inclusive connections with families.
